In this newsletter we will give you a brief insight about what CSC scholarship is, its benefits, minimum age requirements, minimum qualifications and required documents.
What is CSC
CSC is an acronym for Chinese Scholarship Council. It is offered by the Chinese Ministry of Education, for Chinese Universities affiliated with the Chinese Council. CSC is a fully funded program for international students who want to pursue Undergraduate studies, Master or PhD in China. The beautiful thing about the scholarship is that it covers, tuition, accommodation, health insurance and monthly stipend
Minimum Age Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree: students must not be more than 25 years old,
Master’s degree: age limit is 35 years
For Ph.D. degree: age limit is 40 years
Minimum qualification:
Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent for undergraduate students, Bachelor Degree for the masters students and Masters degree for the doctoral student.
Required Documents for CSC Scholarship 2025
Completed Application form
Notarized highest degree and transcripts: For academic credentials, you need to get them certified by the Ministry of Education in your country before going to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to get them notarized.
Two letters of recommendation: From your previous university professors.
English proficiency Results: If you are applying for an English taught program you need an IELTS or TOEFL certificate. But if your previous education was in an English speaking country and you don’t have an IELTS or TOEFL certificate, you can also provide a simple certificate stating that your last degree was taught in English language. It is called an English proficiency certificate.
Study Plan/Research Proposal.
Copy of Your Passport.
